In the past

In the past I have made things, such as pin boards and cushion covers.


and a dab of reupholstering some bargain kitchen chairs that I found in a second hand shop - all simple things that I really enjoyed doing - they were also fairly cheap to do (but effective).

    I love these boards. Are they mad with cork boards or just pieces of wood? I have some mdf but I was thinking it might be too hard to stick pins into.

    they were made with cork boards, which I bought from Tesco (slightly cheating I know) then I added wadding, then the covering material - which was pulled tight and stapled using my upholstery stapler - then the ribbon and studs were added. They are fairly sturdy things.
